« The Centre has always been there for me. When I was going through hard times they never judged me and I always felt very safe. I am so happy to be a part of this program, it has helped me in ways that words cannot explain. »
ALL OUR SERVICES ARE FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL
PLEASE NOTE: Aide Grossesse is not a medical facility. Our services are meant to complement, not replace, professional medical care. Aide Grossesse does not provide confirmation of pregnancy, contraception, ongoing pregnancy follow up, abortion procedures, or adoption placements. We direct clients to the applicable Government of Quebec access points to obtain these services.
The best decision is an informed decision.
The goal of pregnancy options support is to equip and encourage individuals and families faced with unexpected pregnancy and its effects, empowering them to make well-informed decisions in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
Grief care after abortion, placing for adoption, miscarriage or stillbirth
The opportunity to process and grieve the difficult circumstances of reproductive loss is often denied to women and men. At Aide Grossesse, trained facilitators provide individual and group support to meet people as they process their emotions and pursue well-being.
Ongoing support
Choosing to carry a pregnancy is committing to a journey that requires support no matter your circumstances. The Support Worker and client will complete a holistic assessment and create a plan of action. Centre staff and Church Care Groups will be available to provide ongoing care and accompaniment.
Resources
Clients may need help to budget their finances or apply for government supports for families. They may need help to access basic necessities like diapers, wipes, or formula, or to address social or physical challenges.
Referrals
Support Workers may make referrals to other community groups and services to meet the needs of the client.
Birth parent support
For those who feel that abortion is not the choice for them, but also feel they are not at a place in life to raise a child, there is the option of adoption.
